MIXED HUNTING IN ROMANIA
Romania is a country rich in sedentary, wild and particularly elusive game that tests hunters who try their hand at hunting pheasant, partridge and hare with their dogs.
The pheasant is hunted only for male specimens, while the hare, not particularly present in Romania, is however a pleasant encounter in hunting. While there are more culls of hare that can be carried out with driven hunts.
Mixed hunting is practiced in Romania from the beginning of October until 31 January and is carried out by Sassetti Country Sports in collaboration with Italian personnel particularly specialized in hunting with pointing or hunting dogs.

FOOD AND COOKING
Since Romania is a country with a harsh climate, the cuisine adapts to caloric needs. There are many excellently cooked meat-based dishes and cheeses and legumes are widely used. However, the cuisine of our hunting lodge is typically Italian.
RECOMMENDED CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR
In the period when hunting for sedentary mixed game is carried out, the climate can be particularly cold. It is however a movement hunt and it is useful to consider having heavy but breathable clothing. Recommended footwear those suitable for wet cold.
