Romania is the nation that thanks to the majestic Danube delta and a large quantity of lakes and wetlands, concentrates the greatest quantity of water birds, ducks and geese.
For this reason, hunting wild ducks in Romania is always exciting and particularly sought after by hunters from all over Europe.
Duck hunting starts from September until the end of February on various species and Sassetti Country Sports avails itself of the partnership with Italian operators specialized in duck hunting as is done in Italy on the Po delta.

FOOD AND COOKING
Since Romania is a country with a harsh climate, the cuisine adapts to caloric needs. There are many excellently cooked meat-based dishes and cheeses and legumes are widely used. However, the cuisine of our hunting lodge is typically Italian.
RECOMMENDED CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR
The period in which duck hunting is carried out in Romania is characterized by a generally cold climate and in the middle of winter, sometimes particularly rigid, there can be snow. Since these hunting are from stalking, particularly protective clothing against the cold and any snow is recommended. For footwear it is suggested to follow the same information.
